A new cinematic trailer for Greedfall 2 has debuted during Nacon Connect, showing off more of the game’s colonial-fantasy setting and confirming an early access launch window of Summer 2024 on PC. Set three years before the first Greedfall, the prequel puts you in control of a new protagonist who has been uprooted from their home and transported to the continent of Gacane, a land ravaged by war, industrialization, and politicians.

While the first Greedfall game cast you as a Gacane colonist exploring a new land, Greedfall 2: The Dying World flips the script as you play as a Teer Fradee native seeking to regain their freedom in a world scarred by the Malichor plague.
